Gold Coins as a Hobby

Last week I had a chance to look at some of the drawers in my basement. You wouldn’t believe what I found there. I might need to contact my friends as soon as possible to tell them about all those gold and silver coins I found hidden in one of those places in my house where I don’t look that often.

Do I need all those gold and silver coins I have in my possession? I don’t think so. I don’t even remember who gave them to me and I don’t remember buying them myself. All those years, the coins have been hidden safely in my drawers without me even knowing about it. There must be somebody out there who will appreciate all those gold coins a lot more than I do. Those people are called coin collectors.

I have never been that much of a collector myself. I used to collect stamps when I was a child, but then stopped doing it when I left home to go to college. The stamps must still be hidden somewhere in the home of my parents. When it comes to the gold coins I have at home (there aren’t that many of them to be honest), I don’t have any interest in them, so selling them to somebody who could appreciate them sounds like a splendid idea to me. I don’t mind selling my coins to somebody who might appreciate them a lot more than I do. As a matter of fact, I fancy the idea a lot and this is what I am going to try to do for the next couple of days.

Have you considered looking through your drawers to check if you have any hidden gold coins? If not, then it might be a good idea to do it soon. I usually clean the house around Easter time. I know that many of the people I know do it around the same time. Because of this, it might be easy to find many unwanted items in your drawers or other hidden places that you even forgot about. I can’t wait to keep looking in all those drawers for hidden objects I might have forgotten that they existed. Who knows what I am going to be able to find there.
