The first thing that came to my mind was to fix the faucet myself. I used to treat plumbers as last resort probably because of how much confidence in my own abilities I used to have, but after dealing with the problem for some time, I came to the conclusion that it was time to contact a specialist and finally give up on the project. It turned out to be one of the best decisions ever and I was able to rest on my sofa watching my plumber fix everything for me.
