I woke up this morning thinking about all those interesting activities I was going to take part in. I made myself some breakfast and I opened my Internet browser only to find out that my blog was down again. I do not like it when it happens because I want to avoid situations when my readers are unable to access my blog for technical reasons. How can somebody read my blog regularly if it is often down? Maybe it is time to do something about it so that it never happens again? I will try to think about it later this afternoon and find the right solution to the problem.

From my personal experience I can say that dedicated servers such as the dedicated servers offered by Hivelocity.net are a lot better than shared servers for many reasons. I tried both of them and I can tell the difference. The reason I do not use a dedicated server for my blog yet is that this is a new blog I launched only last year. Since more people started visiting it recently, I am considering improving it by transferring it to a dedicated server, which will be so much better than the current server my blog is hosted on. I have been thinking about doing it for a while and I believe that now is the right time in order to take steps to make it happen.

I will try to keep you posted what I decided to do about it.If my blog is not down anymore, this means that I transferred it to a dedicated server.
