It might not be Halloween, but I recently watched Halloween the movie. Whether you will like it will depend on the simple fact: you like to be scared or not. I am this type of a person that likes to be scared but not too much at one time. I wouldn’t definitely watch horrors as the only kind of movies. What I do is I choose interchangeably film to be scared about and either regular comedy or some romantic comedy.
The movie that recently traumatized me for a while was Cry Wolf. Like almost in any scary movie there has to be a killer. There is one in Cry Wolf, there is also one in Halloween the movie. I am talking here about Michael Myers, a man in his twenties who has recently been released from the mental institution where he spent most of his life (no, this is not a mistake. He was put there when he was a kid for killing his older sister and her boyfriend.). Now, after being accidentally freed, Michael returns to his home village to find his younger sister. Will he kill her too? What are his motives for murdering his relatives? Those are the interesting things when you watch movies. If you like to be scared, there are many movies of this type on theaters.
Spore is a game that I played that is a cross between s strategy game and simulation. The game is about evolving your creatures from bacteria, up to a civilization which colonizes space. There are five stages of your creatures: cell, creature, tribal, civilization and space. The idea is very innovative and even if you don’t buy the game, you can at least design your own spore creatures by downloading a spore creature designer. If you download the Spore creatures creator from the official site and you will be able to design your own creatures by attacking mouth, eyes, legs, and claws to a malleable body. I am sure it is a lot of fun and I encourage you to take a look at it.
Some time ago I had a problem that my PC was shutting down after being on for a few minutes, especially when I was in graphically rich applications. I noticed that my computer is not as noisy as usual, and I thought that I should check if the fans in my computer are working. I installed a temp. monitoring software and noticed that my computer was switching off when CPU temperature was 120C and this was the confirmation that I needed to know that this indeed was an overheating problem due to fan/fans not working. After inspection I noticed that the CPU fan was not spinning at all, and I replaced the whole cooler along with the heatsink and fan, while making sure that I buy the correct cooler for my computers socket type (in this case 939). I hope that this story may help you if you encounter similar problems.
Do you shop before this Christmas yet? If not, then you still have a few days to do so. I know that shopping malls can be crowded this time of year, but in my opinion shopping for Christmas is quite important if you want to be in the Christmas spirit. Personally, I enjoy my Christmas shopping. I always make sure that I buy Christmas gifts for all my family members. This year I bought different gifts for different family members. I know that people buy various gifts for Christmas, maybe even engagement rings. I believe that proposing during Christmas can be a quite good idea. If you have been looking for the right moment to propose to your girlfriend, then you might even consider doing it during Christmas. Since all your family members are going to be there, you will have a chance to express your love in front of everybody else who is part of your family. This can be a wonderful experience.
I want to tell everyone how they can lock their computer. This feature will be very useful especially if you are working in a company that shares the same network of computers. While going on a lunch break you do not want anybody to mess up with your computer and turning it completely off and then on when you are back might take too much time. In order to lock your computer, press the Windows button, which is located at the bottom left side of your keyboard and the letter L at the same time. Now you are free to go. After coming back just press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and insert the right password. Remember however that this solution might not work in every computer network. If it does not work, ask your network administrator for tips on how to make this feature possible on your computer.
I have just discovered a new, faster way to open pages from my browser. As there are many sites that have .com as their ending, this trick will work only for them. The secret is that there is a combination of keys that writes www and .com automatically if you write an address in an address bar. Here is how you can do it to see how the trick works. Just go to your browser to a place where you can input any web address. Write google (for example) in the address bar and press Ctrl+Enter. You will then see that browser will take you automatically to www.google.com. Try this trick for any other site that has .com at its ending. Hope it will save you a lot of time.
I am happy that I finally created this blog as I have a lot of things that I can discuss. Some people think that having a blog is very difficult, but the key is to write about what you like. There are many topics that are of interest to me and that is why I will be writing about a variety of topics. As a matter of fact, if you got any ideas about what I could write about, then feel free to let me know as I might take that into account. Anyway, I hope that you will enjoy visiting my blog as I plan on adding content on a regular basis.
I am kind of person that likes to look for good deals as I do not want to pay too much for anything. That is why I am happy that there is more and more free software out there. All kinds of programs are for free. This can include programs that can help office workers, but it also includes various software such as media players, security software, file converters, or even games. Basically, almost any kind of program can be found for free. Some of these free programs are very good and can compete with software that costs a lot of money. That is why it is worth checking out free software.
