I have always been a clean freak. I am ever more of a freak than my wife is and many among our friends consider her to be obsessed with keeping things clean and tidy.
I think that one reason I have always liked to keep things clean is when I was still back in college, one of my roommates absolutely hated to clean. Our room was always such a mess and I never liked it. I even decided to move to another room because of him even though I liked the guy. He just didn’t like to clean after himself, that’s all. His dirty clothes would pile up in the corner of our room sometimes for weeks as he didn’t really feel like doing anything about it. I think that his mother had spoiled him rotten when he was a kid and when the time came for him to move out and go to college, he was completely helpless not knowing how to even clean.
I am not the one in my home responsible for the cleaning and housework, because my wife takes care of all that, but I like to be helpful from time to time especially since I have tons of experience from the time when I was still a student and needed to take care of many things myself. I also noticed that my wife started using some eco-friendly soap some time ago. I definitely approve of this decision as I want to make the world a better place to live for our kids and grandkids. It seems to me that eco-friendly products are healthier to be around especially if you have small children living in your household just like I have. My kids never had any allergies or rash resulting from any eco-friendly products, so it is safe for me to assume that such products are also children friendly.
I have a healthy relationship with my father. He has always been and he still is a very funny man that is really easy to like and be with. I completely understand why my mother married him. He has always been my hero and he forever be one. It is no wonder then that we used to spend so much together when I grew up in their home. My father would teach me all kinds of things from woodworking to shaving. After that, I am good to use a good old-fashioned razor and shaving soap to help me shave. Traditional shaving never goes out of fashion and I want to be absolutely sure that everything I do, I do to the best of my knowledge.
I chose to live near a beach on purpose. I never had a chance to grow up anywhere near the sea when I was a child, so as soon I started a life of my own, I decided to move somewhere close to a beach to settle down there. I am going to be traveling to a few destinations this summer. Some of those destinations will be located close to a beach. You cannot blame me for wanting to spend some time in a warmer place than I am currently living in. After all, while the beach here is beautiful, it never really gets very hot here, even during summer months. While I love the scenery and everything, I also like to sunbathe in the sun in a very hot place. Since I am going to need to part with my bike for the duration of the summer holidays, I am already thinking about renting a bike in one of those places where I am going to spend this year’s summer. I am hoping that I am going to rent a quality bike and then I will want to ride it whenever possible.
I can’t wait for this year’s summer holidays. I always look forward to every summer because I know that for me as well as for my family it is a unique time to get some rest somewhere in a secluded place, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities that are usually very noisy and remind me of work.
